BATH CHOIR

We have now been in our 'new' home in Bear Flat for a whole year!
Join us as we continue to connect with place, season, and each other :)

Each session begins with a short guided visualisation, followed by beautiful seasonal and local folk songs. With simple, powerful harmonies taught by ear, there is no need to read music or to have sung before - everyone is welcome! We focus on singing with feeling to celebrate our landscape, community, and heritage, reconnecting deeply with ourselves and with each other.

Join us for a half price taster session!
Simply click to book, then select 'change amount' below the suggested price and change it to £5. Proceed with payment as normal, and come sing with us!

Meet Emily
Hi! I'm Emily, and I founded Birch Tree Folk Choir back in 2018. I am a singer and counsellor, and am training as a medical herbalist - although I currently spend most of my time hanging out with my 2 year old son Laurie! I have loved everything the choir has brought me - running workshops at festivals, training other leaders - but my favourite by far is sharing beautiful music and connecting each week with the group in Bath!

Changes to how payment works:
With so much financial uncertainty I am making some changes to the payment system. While the suggested payment is still £60/term or £5/taster session this amount can now be adjusted in order to make payment more flexible for you. This might look like:
- paying slightly less for the term overall if £60 is unreachable for you
- splitting the suggested amount into smaller payments over the 6 weeks
- paying slightly more if you can afford to and would like to subsidise those who need to pay less

As always if you would like to talk to me about payment, or if there is anything more I can do to make the choir more accessible to you please do get in touch with me at emily@birchtreechoir.com. I would always rather have you sing with us!
